The Clean, Green, Wood Shredding Machine!

Do you drive to your local household waste site to dump your branches, twigs and other garden prunings? Well, no more! If you live in Wychavon, Redditch or Worcester City, you can use the Shredderman service to have your twigs and branches shredded, put into bags and left with you for use as top quality garden mulch.

What could be simpler? All you have to do is:

• Call the Shredding Hotline on 0845 6021939
• Book an appointment - available Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm
• Pay a booking fee by credit or debit card
• Wait for the wood chipping machine and its experienced operators, to arrive at your home.
• Stay with Shredderman whilst the work is done!

Chippings will be left with you in bags supplied by Shredderman for you to use in your garden

What can I do with the Chippings?

• Mulch - The chippings make excellent mulch. Mulch is placed on the surface of damp, warm, weed free soil where it locks in moisture and suppresses weed growth by depriving them of light. This saves you money on weed killer as well as time and effort spent pulling them up!
• Compost - If your chippings are not too woody, put them in your compost bin. Make sure you mix them with scrunched up paper or cardboard to keep air in the mix. You might need to add some water too.
• Decoration - If your chippings are from woody trees and shrubs, you could use them as decorative cover as you would use chipped bark.
