Residents of Herefordshire and Worcestershire are now once again able to order a discount compost bin delivered to their front door through the councils' scheme.

Compost bins start at a bargain price £12 (£7 + £5 delivery) for a 220 litre compost bin and £15 (£10 + £5 delivery) for a 330 litre compost bin. Both bins are available in a choice of green or black

A wide range of compost bins are available through the scheme, including wormeries and Bokashi, plus composting accessories.

When ordering more than one item residents only pay a £5 delivery charge. The 220L & 330L bins are limited to two per customer.

There is also an opportunity to get a second compost bin at half price, a nice idea if you want to share the costs with a friend or neighbour.

This service is provided by Straight PLC for theNational Home Composting Framework. The 220L and 330L compost bins are subsided by Herefordshire Council and Worcestershire County Council.

Bins should be delivered within 28 days
