Kerbside Recycling Collections

If you have a Kerbside collection of recyclables, please try to use it - we would like to offer this service to as many households as possible, and we are including more every year.

Your collection is arranged and run by your DISTRICT council. There are several different schemes running in Worcestershire so please be sure to check which items your scheme takes. These links will take you to the correct page for your local council collection information.

What happens to the kerbside recycling?

It depends on your district collection scheme, but generally, the materials are sorted by type, compressed into bales and sent to a specialist recycler to be made into new items. This is done at our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) or at the kerbside depending on where you live.
